Rapid Cycle Transfer
The Transtor is a hydraulically actuated self-contained modular transfer station that eliminates the costs associated with conventional tipping floors, loaders, and manpower. Refuse material is contained inside the Transtor which keeps bears and other animals out, eliminates health risks, reduces injury potential and minimizes the spread of infectious disease to operators and the public accessing the site. Sealed hopper panels prevent leachate from escaping and the tight lid seal keeps moisture out and odors in.
Thanks to a small operating footprint, multiple Transtors are easily installed on sites for simple separation of material streams. The modular design allows for easy expansion to accomodate changes in material streams, demographics, and long-term growth.
Built to Last
Like most of our containers, the Transtor is manufactured from galvanneal steel and primed and painted with powder coat for maximum durability and service life. Optional stainless steel panels can extend the product life cycle even more.
Simple Setup
Transtors can be shipped knocked down or pre-assembled and are easily installed and operational within days. Pre-Engineered site plans and retaining walls are available to help reduce project costs and timelines.
Easy Operation
Material is loaded into the Transtor from the top deck of a minimal grade separation. Individual users deposit material by way of the easy to use, low loading height, single or double drop chutes. The lid also fully retracts to accept material from any type of collection vehicle.
Transtors make transfer a one-man show, with unloading into a transfer trailer complete in less than five minutes. The hydraulically actuated Transtor is easy to operate, and can be powered by a truck wet kit or Compaction Trailer diesel engine if power is not available onsite (as can often be the case in rural transfer applications).
